Skylight:
The base of the VELUX Skylight System is our industry-leading skylight!
With deck-mount, curb-mount, and self-flashed installation options, the skylight
can be fixed or venting to provide fresh air. Venting models are available in

Solar-Powered Shade:
The included room-darkening skylight shade is solar-powered and offers total
light control, increasing the Skylight System’s energy performance up to 45%*.

Remote Controls:
Factory-paired remote controls for shades are included in all Skylight Systems
for easy set-up and operation. Electric and solar venting Skylight Systems also
include remotes pre-paired to open and close the skylights.
Manual venting Skylight Systems can be operated with a handle or control rod, sold separately.

Standard Safety Glass:
Standard laminated glass has advanced Low-E protective coating, dual-sealed
and injected with argon gas for increased protection and indoor comfort.

Rain Sensors:
Solar and electric venting Skylight Systems feature integrated rain sensors to
close the skylights automatically at the first signs of inclement weather.

Insect Screens:
All venting Skylight Systems include insect screens to prevent bugs and debris
from entering the home through an open skylight.

Weathertight Guarantee:
VELUX flashing is required to create a weathertight seal around deck- and curb-mount Skylight Systems, as well as to qualify for our 10-year installation warranty.
