New Velux FCM Skylight Sizes:

Velux has expanded its Fixed Curb Mount (FCM) series with new standard sizes of 19×43, 23×47, and 31×71.
These additional sizes provide more options to fit your specific needs. Please note that flashing kits for these new sizes may not be immediately available.
They will also be adjusting their in stock non-standard sizes. Available sizes will now be model numbers 190365, 190435, 225225, 225470, 315470, 315700, 315715, 365365. Custom Sizes will be available.

The good news is that skylights with shades will cost less than they ever have with the best savings being on their fixed units.

New Polycarbonate double dome curb mount units:

New polycarbonate curb mount double dome units (CMD) will utilize the existing fixed curb mount (FCM) frame. Initially, these will only be available in clear over clear configurations in 2222, 2246, 3030, 3434, and 4646 sizes. We are currently unsure if clear over white, bronze over clear, or special order sizes will be available in polycarbonate. Commercial acrylic double dome (FXG) units will, however, be available.

E-Class Skylight Changes and Alternatives:

The E-Class Series (EF, EV, EVMS) will now only be available in custom sizes and frame colors making all E-Class products special order items. For standard sizes we offer excellent alternatives including our deck-mount fixed skylights (FS), self-flashing skylights (QPF), and a wide range of venting skylights.

Velux Sun Tunnel Updates: Now with Solar Night Lights:

Velux Rigid Sun Tunnels (10″ and 14″) are getting an upgrade! The standard uinit will now include solar-powered night lights adding both functionality and ambiance to your space.

In addition to these product updates Velux will implement an average price increase of approximately 3% on most other products effective April 1, 2025.
