Velux SkyMax Large Span Skylights (GSM)

Fill your home with bright, natural daylight! Spanning up to 10 feet, the dramatic SkyMax skylight doubles the square footage of standard flat glass skylights – without losing thermal efficiency. The SkyMax also incorporates a condensation channel to prevent leaking, eliminating the need for weep holes. For large, single light spans, the vinyl frame is structurally reinforced with aluminum. All SkyMax have a standard 2604 powdered coat finish in VELUX Cool Grey. Additional designer colors, including copper cladding are available.

• Sizes are based upon the outside curb dimension (OCD)
• For use with site-built curb and flashing minimum 3 ½”
• Quaker bronze paint finish is standard. Custom finish colors and copper cladding available

 

Custom Sizes

• All curb-mounted GSM SkyMax skylights are custom sizes
• We require exact outside curb dimensions for width and height
• Up to 32 sq ft, up to 10′ at longest dimension
• Minimum outside curb dimension: 17.5″ W or H.
• Maximum outside curb dimension: 120″ W or H.
• Sizes are based upon the outside curb dimension (OCD).
• For use with site-built curb and flashing minimum 3 1⁄2” Curb.
• Available custom finish colors and copper cladding.
• Standard Glass – Laminated LowE3 Glass.
• Custom size flashing kits and blinds are not available
• Average lead times are 30 business days
• Some glass options require longer lead times
