PRIVACY POLICY
Shop For Skylights (shopforskylights.com) respects the rights of consumers to privacy. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. Accordingly, we have instituted policies intended to ensure that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. Shop For Skylights (shopforskylights.com) does not sell, donate or in any way provide consumer's personal information to any entity. In order to provide consumers with local support and service, contact information may be provided to service providers who are located in consumer's geographical locale at the consumers request.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
• We currently can only ship to the lower fifty (50) states in the USA and Washington D.C.
We cannot ship international countries.
• Orders are typically processed Monday through Friday except on major holidays.
• All standard stock items take approximately 3-5 business days for delivery once processed. Delivery times vary on non-standard stock items.
• Expedited shipping is currently not available.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
• We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, less the original cost of shipping, processing fees
and a 25% re-stocking fee.
• No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
• Returns are not accepted on special order units.
• Returns are not accepted on electric skylights, Solar powered skylights or anything that is considered electronic.
• Returns are not accepted on Velux blinds.
• Returns are not accepted on Remote controls. (All remotes will be tested by our techs prior to shipping)
• Returns are not accepted on orders with factory installed blinds.
• All items must be unused, uninstalled and in original undefaced packaging.
• Cost of return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Insurance is strongly suggested due to the frequency of items damaged in shipping.
• No refund will be issued if product is deemed unable to be resold.
• A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be requested prior to the return of the item.
• Requests must be made by phone or text directly with a sales representative with either your order number or full name & original purchase date.
• Refunds for cancelled orders after the credit card is processed will have a 3% fee as our merchant partners do not refund our fees.
• Refunds will be processed once we receive credit from the manufacturer.
Please allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks for a refund.
• Any orders that are returned without receiving prior authorization from Shop For Skylights (shopforskylights.com) will void our return policy and no refund will be given. This includes refusing orders upon delivery or undelivered orders due to improper information provided to us by you (the customer).
DAMAGED / LOST PRODUCT
This is a quick checklist to give you an overview, but please be sure to read the full Damage policy HERE.
All orders have the option to add shipping insurance on the checkout page, WE strongly advise adding the insurance option, We will not be responsible for any products damaged or lost in transit with no shipping insurance.
If you receive a product that was damaged in shipping, defective, missing parts, or that is not the product you ordered, please contact us at sales@shopforskylights.com as soon as possible with photographic evidence (pictures) so that we may arrange a replacement or credit.
Upon receiving your shipment, please inspect your materials promptly and report any damages or missing items to us immediately.
• For all ground deliveries ALWAYS INSPECT YOUR SHIPMENT PROMPTLY AND REPORT ANY DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS TO US WITHIN ONE (1) BUSINESS DAY! We cannot provide reimbursement or solutions of any kind if issues are not reported within one (1) business day, no exceptions.
• For all LTL (freight) deliveries you must be present to sign for your shipment. ALWAYS INSPECT YOUR SHIPMENT AT DELIVERY AND REPORT ANY DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS WHEN SIGNING THE BILL OF LADING! We cannot file a claim on your behalf or offer reimbursement of any kind if it is not documented on the Bill of lading, no exceptions.
CHANGING & CANCELING ORDERS
• Most orders are processed very quickly so that we can deliver your items as soon as possible. Once an order has been shipped it cannot be modified.
• Call us immediately at 402-450-5641 if you need to update your unshipped order.
• To Cancel an order please call us 402-450-5641.
• All cancelled orders after the credit card is processed will have a 3% processing fee.
• Cancellations must be made by phone directly with a Shop For Skylights (shopforskylights.com) representative.
• Please have your order number and the order name ready.
• Occasional errors may occur due to popup blockers or website errors. Please allow popups for this website. This may result in multiple orders or no order being processed. If you believe an error has occurred, please call us at 402-450-5641. We are not responsible for any such errors.
• Any credit card disputes will have $15.00 processing fee.
• If your order has been shipped prior to the cancellation, please follow the Return Policy guidelines listed above.

Our normal processing time is 3(three) - 5(five) business days however processing may take longer dependant on the time it takes funds to clear, holidays or delays by our shipping partners.
Product we'll only be released after funds have cleared. If you are not comfortable with the processing time PLEASE don't order.
Refunds for cancelled orders after the credit card is processed can take upto 7 business days to process and will have a 3% fee as our processors don't refund their fees to us.
